Analytical Chemistry

NSF-sponsored research in our laboratory centers on developing reagentless nanoscale sensors for small molecule and protein detection.  REU students will have an opportunity to create new nanocrystalline materials, characterize them, and modify their surface for myriad sensing applications.

REU students will be partnered with senior graduate students or postdoctoral associates.
